Dr. Rajagopala Chidambaram-A memoir Dr. R. Chidambaram was born on 11 November 1936 in erst while Madras present day Chennai , Tamil Nadu. After completing his early education in Meerut and Chennai he completed B.Sc. Honors in Physics from Madras university in 1956. He completed his M.Sc. Physics too from Madras University in 1958. He was accepted in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for his doctoral program. He completed his PhD and was awarded PhD for his thesis on development of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.
